For my number patterns I used Illustrator as well as photoshop to make my designs. When making these I chose to do all the numbers using the font helvetica. I wanted to see the way I could manipulate the strokes to give the numbers I different feel. I also used bright colors so that it would be more attractive for children. The idea is to use these patterns or at least some of these patterns in my Cool Colin Counting book for children.
